Community members are invited to take a step toward better health at Saint Mary’s upcoming Walk with a Doc event in partnership with Main Street Russellville, featuring a casual one-mile walk led by local interventional cardiologists. The event will take place Monday, April 28 at 5:30 p.m., starting at Depot Park, located at 320 W. C St. in Russellville.
This free, educational walk will begin with a brief health talk titled “Spring Into Heart Health,” presented by Drs. Surbhi Chamaria, Sabeeda Kadavath, and Zoltan Varga. Following the talk, participants will enjoy a scenic downtown walk at their own pace, with the opportunity to ask health-related questions in a relaxed, approachable setting.
“This event is a great way to promote physical activity while also building personal connections between our providers and the people they serve,” said Carleigh Powell, Marketing & Communications Manager at Saint Mary’s. “At Saint Mary’s, we’re committed to making communities healthier®, and this is just one example of how we bring that mission to life.”
There is no cost to attend, and no registration is required. Community members of all ages are encouraged to participate—and bring friends, family, and comfortable walking shoes.
